FUTURE - REWRITTEN
Your perception of time and space determines how you evaluate your future. If you think of the future as something only existing ahead of you without you having the power to influence it, you may find yourself in a state of helplessness and uncertainty.
Although, we all agree that the only way time runs is forward. If you reflect, feel and maybe meditate about this strange, ungraspable thing called time, you may feel in your bones that there is more. Some aspect that has interacting attributes. Some similarities between the past and the future.
Because the truth is: The past is as much a memory as the future is.
Yes, the future can be your memory or at least something very close to what we call memory.
What is a memory
It is a thought, a feeling, an emotion, images, fading experiences of complex situations we went through – good or bad.
Psychology has proven that for our brain, there is no difference between an experience we truly experienced in the past or imagination of an experience; something we only believed has happened.
If you feel into that, there are only a few steps to apply that to our future. We can experience our future as if it had already been passed, as it has already happened. Similar to what you may know as manifestation.
When you manifest something, you think of it in the present as though it would already be real. You treat it as a memory; you feel your future sensations and emotions, smell the odours around you, see every detail of it as if you would have been experiencing this future situation already.
So, in your mind, you can be a time traveller. And by travelling, you start to rewrite your future. You don’t just look at it as a blank page, an unwritten map. Instead, you begin to rewrite what might have been your future without you manifesting your desired situation.
I recently heard this advertisement slogan, and it caught me entirely right away.
Your future is not unwritten – it is rewritten by you.
Take it into your hands and start shaping it the way you want it to be. Dream it.
Write it down as if your future self was telling it to you.
Paint a picture of it.
Or speak it out loud.
…and believe it…
